Creativity, like love, flourishes when nurtured with tenderness, intrigue, and a touch of the unexpected. Writing isn’t just a discipline—it’s a seduction, a dance between inspiration and expression. To romance your inner writer is to create the conditions for magic. Writing cannot thrive on deadlines and caffeine alone; it needs moonlit walks, half-forgotten dreams, and the intoxicating thrill of putting the right words in the right order.

THE INSPIRATION

Puglia is a land of stories: there’s a poetry to the way light spills over trulli rooftops at golden hour, how the scent of freshly baked focaccia mingles with the salty air, and how the horizon dissolves into the Adriatic like the end of a well-written sentence. We are deeply inspired by this place, like the great poets and writers before us. Writing that is rooted in place is writing that transforms.

THE EXPERIENCE

Is your life idling for a creative fire? Our writing retreats are designed to ignite your inner flame. We’ll use our human experience to craft essays, short stories, memoirs, and poems. Our days will be spent in a lovingly restored 16th-century farmhouse, set amidst 130 hectares of olive groves and vineyards. We will be immersed in our writing practice, meditating, exploring the local villages, enjoying the beach and connecting with our literary selves.

Delos, Riniea, Tinos, and Naxos are visible from the property.  Outside, we will enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and sea views from the terrace or the lower saltwater swimming pool.

TO BE IN YOUR HIGHEST EXPRESSION AND ESSENCE REQUIRES SUPPORT, COMMITMENT + PRACTICE. THE TEMPLE IS A SACRED SPACE FOR DIVINE PLAY, SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY + DEVOTION TO YOUR SOUL’S HIGHEST EXPRESSION.

Within the monthly membership, you will have access to weekly live (recorded) kundalini yoga classes and monthly live new moon rituals. These practices are designed to keep you in flow with whatever energy the cosmos happens to be throwing at you, so that you can keep your nervous system regulated and navigate the currents with grace, all while knowing that you are not in it alone.

SAMPLE ITINERARY

  • 90 minutes of kundalini yoga + meditation on Tuesdays at 7am PST . 10am EST . 4PM CEST

  • a monthly gathering to meditate, set intentions, and be in loving community. we will have 30 minutes of ritual followed by an hour of council (a loving way of sharing and witnessing each other in circle)

  • pre-recorded bite-sized practices (kundalini kriyas and meditations, grounding somatic practices) will live in your membership resource library, for when you want to weave spiritual practice into a busy day

Nestled within the tranquil landscape of the Cyclades, Moonhouse stands as a testament to our deep appreciation for natural beauty and the power of simplicity. These villas seamlessly blend modern design with the organic elements of the island’s terrain.

Luxurious bedrooms in the main house serve as havens of comfort and style. Every detail, from the high-quality furnishings to the calming color palettes, contributes to an atmosphere of refined elegance throughout the property. On clear days, the islands of Mykonos, Delos, Riniea, Tinos, and Naxos are visible from the property.  Outside, we will enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and sea views from the terrace or the lower saltwater swimming pool.
