MEET OLIVIA

There are many ways in which I could describe my work. For most of my life, I have felt called to see beyond the veil — beyond the matrix that westerners have been taught to take for granted. From a young age, I was playing mind games with myself to find my way to witness consciousness. In high school, I began to feel fascinated by the concept of identity, of ego, of how I was perceived. As soon as I found meditation, at 17, a journey of spiritual seeking began that has never ceased and has led me to unravel the profound truth of who I truly am — who we are. I dream of a world in which every human is awake to this truth.

I grew up with all of my western desires met, in a family of privilege, traveling the world. I very quickly saw through the cultural idea that success and wealth lead to happiness. I then quested over the question of the meaning of life, with those idols collapsed. This quest led me to silent meditation retreats, to vision fasts in the desert, to countless plant medicine ceremonies, and ultimately back into the conscious cultivation of my own life and relationships. I have, through these experiences, healed much of my own relational, ancestral and cultural trauma so that I could find the joy of connection that I knew in childhood again - the presence, peace and laughter that are, I think, true happiness.

My relationships with plants, with god/goddess/the universe, with my friends and beloveds, and with my own somatic therapist have been my doorways to healing. After years of seeking outside of myself, I know now how to find a sense of home in my own body and being.

And so, my work is about reweaving people with their truest nature - repairing the moments in which they lost it along the way. I believe that we each have a soul purpose here, that we are sacred bees tending our human hive. We have some work to do to get back into balance, to be the stewards of this gorgeous planet that we are meant to be.

It is my deepest honor to help my clients along the path of healing their own trauma, of awakening to their true natures, and of learning how to integrate this into the everyday challenges of living in our messy, beautiful world.

MY PHILOSOPHY

01.

Our lives are our mirrors. The challenges we face are our deepest teachers, if we can learn to meet them and alchemize them.

02.

A world in which every person grows up learning to follow the sacred voice of soul is a healed world.

03.

Magic is real.

04.

We can meet ourselves in past timelines and heal the present + future.

05.

Connection is where we heal and grow and find reason for being here.

THE THREADS OF MY WORK

TRAININGS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • “Soma” = “body”

The body is where we hold memory of the things that have happened to us, good and bad — even things that happened before we had words. Somatic therapy modalities recognize this and use the body as a doorway to look at and alchemize our most deeply held beliefs and core wounds.

    The Hakomi Method

A gentle yet powerful therapeutic methodology that weaves mindfulness and somatic (body) awareness to heal attachment wounds and developmental trauma.

Comprehensive Skills 2-year Program, Hakomi Institute of California (now EmbodyWise)

    Internal Family Systems (IFS)

A modality that works well in conjunction with the Hakomi Method, this is detailed inner child work that helps clients to heal old wounds and develop a sense of their innate wholeness.

    IFS Online Circle

    DARe

A modality focused on healing attachment wounds & trauma through the relational field and nervous system, informed by Somatic Experiencing and neuroscience.

MEET LAIMA, the MUSE

Statue of a woman in traditional attire holding a spindle

Laima (pronounced “lime-a”) is the Lithuanian goddess of weaving; of fate, luck, beauty, and magic. Her name derives from the Lithuanian word “laimé” meaning good fortune. She is the parallel of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, and is much like the figures of the three fates (the moirai in Greek mythology / the three norns in Norse mythology) in one archetype – spinning thread, measuring it, and cutting it to determine human fates + fortunes.

The fates are the goddesses who ensure that every being, mortal or divine, live out their destiny as assigned to them by the universe.

I have a belief that, somehow, we choose our missions — our threads — in each lifetime. This doesn’t mean that we don’t have free will, or that there is one way to accomplish this mission; I simply believe that life on earth is soul school (and it’s full of magical winks from the universe that point us along).

Will we be brave enough to follow the threads that have been tenderly spun for us?
