THE INTENTION
Life is meant to be lived in the present. And yet, the speed of life in the city can spin us away from this truth. We designed these retreats for those who want to take a moment, step away, and make space for what is most important — connecting to self, connecting to the earth, and connecting to each other.
THE INSPIRATION
We invite you into the country home you’ve always dreamed of: where we gather around the table and connect deeply; where we put our hands in the soil and harvest vegetables to cook for dinner; where we talk to garden flowers and lay in the grass; where dappled sunlight filters through the trees and time slows down. This is the quintessential European county house, an old converted stone barn in the middle of a magical garden. We invite you into its timelessness.
THE EXPERIENCE
These retreats are designed with one thing in mind: to provide you with opportunities for nourishment. We invite you to participate in the flow of the weekend: meditation, yoga (for all levels), chatting while helping to prepare the next meal, working in the garden. We also give you the opportunity to take space for yourself, use the sauna, read your book in the garden, take a long walk. These retreats are family-style, designed for moments of connection alongside solo time.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM A WEEKEND AT THE GRANGE
Table talk with like-minded women over gorgeous, nourishing meals in the garden
Spiritual practice that takes you as deep as you would like to go – yoga here is not about achieving anything, it’s about meeting yourself
Time to be with yourself in contemplation, to read quietly, to use the outdoor sauna, to stroll around the garden
The opportunity to help in the garden and with meal preparation, if you want to get into presence by using your hands
New relationships you can take home with you
Conversations that go beneath the surface
Laughter and fun

The Grange has long been a gathering-place for family and friends, where memories have been created over long lunches that have rolled into the evening. We welcome you into this space, where conversation over vegetable chopping continues as we set the table together and lingers long after the final dish has been cleared. Food and connection are the best medicine we know; we believe that it really is that simple.

YOUR HOSTS
KONSTANZE NEUERBURG
Konstanze is the primary curator and host of these weekends. She is also the architect who transformed the Grange from an abandoned barn into a country retreat.
OLIVIA ANDREWS
Olivia has been a meditation and yoga teacher for 7 years. She is the founder of The Golden Thread, a directory of holistic healers, and LAIMA Somatics, her private somatic counseling practice. At the Grange, she tends the ceremonial flow and teaches meditation and both kundalini and vinyasa yoga.
THE LOCATION
The Grange is an old stone barn, previously abandoned, that Konstanze Neuerburg (one of your hosts!) lovingly transformed into a country retreat. It is a light-filled home, at once modern and old, nestled within the its original stone walls.
The grange opens onto a magical garden, and whether you spend your day indoors or outdoors you feel the shifting quality of the light outside. Here, you can know the time-bending luxury of spending an entire day in one place, using only your feet to move around.
While the house is designed with community in mind - the kitchen and dining and living spaces all blended into one - each bedroom is a quiet retreat away from the main space with its own charm and character.
