PSYCHEDELIC INTEGRATION
Making meaning of what you’ve experienced—and finding a way to live it.
A psychedelic experience can open something.
Sometimes it is beautiful and expansive. Sometimes it is confusing, destabilizing, or difficult to put into words. Sometimes you come home with a knowing you can’t quite explain, a question that won’t leave you alone, or a sense that something in your life wants to (or needs to) change.
The ceremony may last an afternoon.
The integration unfolds for months, years, or a lifetime.
Psychedelic integration sessions are a space to slow down, listen closely, and explore what your experience might be asking of you — so that you can begin the most intricate part of this work: weaving the magical with the mundane, and transforming your ‘ordinary’ life so that it is in alignment with your heart and higher self.
What is psychedelic integration ?
Integration is the process of bringing what arose during a psychedelic experience into relationship with your life as a whole.
That might mean making sense of an experience that felt profound or mysterious. It might mean tending to something difficult that surfaced. It might mean exploring a new understanding of yourself, your relationships, your spirituality, your creative life, or the direction you want to take.
Often integration is less about figuring out what happened and more about learning how to stay in relationship with what happened — so that the lessons and magic from ceremony can continue to unfurl and inform how you move in the world.
In our sessions, we can make room for the experience without rushing to interpret it or turn it into a lesson:
We listen for what is alive in the body.
We notice the parts of you that may feel excited, afraid, skeptical, changed, or uncertain.
We make space for questions that don’t have immediate answers.
And, together, we explore how an experience that took place outside of ordinary consciousness might meaningfully inform the life you’re living here, now, in the ordinary world.
YOU MIGHT COME TO INTEGRATION IF …
You’ve had a psychedelic experience that continues to stay with you.
You experienced something profound, mystical, beautiful, or difficult and want somewhere to explore it.
You’re struggling to make sense of something that arose during a journey.
You’ve noticed changes in your relationships, sense of identity, spirituality, creativity, or priorities since a ceremony.
You received an insight during ceremony but aren’t sure how to embody it in everyday life.
You’re experiencing a period of transition or questioning and your psychedelic experience has opened new possibilities.
You want support preparing for a future psychedelic experience.
You simply have a feeling that there is more to your experience than you’ve been able to articulate on your own.
MY APPROACH
My approach to integration is somatic, relational, spiritual, and grounded in the belief that you are the best authority on your own experience.
I don’t believe every psychedelic experience needs to be explained.
Some experiences ask to be understood. Others ask to be felt, witnessed, written about, spoken aloud, or simply given time.
My work draws from somatic practice, Hakomi, Internal Family Systems, ritual, contemplative practice, and my own years of engagement with psychedelic and spiritual work.
We might work with a feeling in your body, a recurring image or dream, an inner conflict, a memory, a part of yourself that has become more visible, or a question about how you want to live.
There is room here for mystery.
And there is room for the practical.
Because ultimately, integration is not only about what happened in the altered state. It is about what happens when you return to your life.
FROM THE EXTRAORDINARY BACK TO THE ORDINARY
One of the things I love most about integration is the movement between worlds.
A psychedelic experience can make the familiar feel strange and the hidden suddenly visible. It can bring us into contact with grief, wonder, longing, fear, love, mortality, the natural world, or a sense of connection that is difficult to describe.
Then the journey ends.
There are dishes in the sink. Messages to answer. Relationships to navigate. Work to do. A body to inhabit.
The question becomes:
How do I bring what I touched there into the life I am actually living here?
Sometimes the answer is a major change.
Sometimes it is a small one: A conversation. A boundary. A creative practice. A new relationship to your body. More time outside. A decision you’ve been avoiding. A willingness to grieve. A commitment to something that matters.
Integration is the slow art of letting an experience become lived knowledge.
WHAT SESSIONS CAN LOOK LIKE …
There is no prescribed formula for integration.
We begin with what is actually present.
Depending on what you’re bringing, a session might include:
Somatic inquiry
Slowing down and listening to the body’s sensations, impulses, emotions, and responses.
Parts work
Exploring the different voices or parts of yourself that may have emerged around your experience.
Meaning-making
Giving language to images, memories, insights, questions, or experiences that may not yet have words.
Writing & reflection
Using journaling, creative writing, or other forms of expression to stay in relationship with what you’ve experienced.
Ritual
Creating simple, intentional practices that help mark a transition, honor an experience, or give form to something meaningful.
Practical integration
Exploring how your experience might translate into relationships, work, creativity, daily rhythms, boundaries, or other concrete aspects of your life.
A BIT ABOUT ME :
Hi! I’m Olivia.
I am a somatic practitioner, writer, and ceremonialist.
My relationship with psychedelic medicine began in my early twenties and has remained one of the deepest threads of my own spiritual and creative life. I spent three years in apprenticeship to the healing arts in California (herbalism, plant medicine, and somatic therapy) and subsequently completed a two-year training in psychedelic ministry.
Over the past several years, I have accompanied friends, peers, and members of my community through psychedelic experiences and the process of making meaning from what emerged.
My broader practice is rooted in somatic work (Hakomi, Internal Family Systems), ritual, spirituality, and the conviction that meaningful transformation is not something we impose upon ourselves— it is something we learn to listen for.
I bring both reverence and practicality to this work.
I believe the sacred and the ordinary belong together.
You can read more about me, my training, and my story here.
WORKING TOGETHER
Sessions last 60 minutes and can take place virtually or in person, if you are located in the Hudson Valley.
Individual session — $175 (sliding scale prices are available when needed)
We can meet for a single integration session or work together over a series of sessions, depending on what you’re moving through — I often find that 3 is a beautiful number.
If you’re not sure whether psychedelic integration is the right container for what you’re experiencing, you’re welcome to reach out and tell me a little about what you’re looking for.
You don’t have to know what it means yet.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly articulated story.
You don’t need to know whether what happened was spiritual, psychological, symbolic, neurological, or something you don’t have language for yet.
You can simply bring the experience.
We’ll begin there.
